Committed to lasting value and impact

At PMG, sustainability is more than a goal. It’s a responsibility woven into every aspect of our business. Environmental and social responsibility form the foundation of how we create long-term value, build trust, and strengthen relationships with our investors, tenants and communities.

Doing it right

We are proud to hold the Toitū Net Carbon Zero certification, aligning with the globally recognised ISO 14064-1:2018 standard. Our annual independent audits by Toitū ensure transparency and accountability, empowering us to measure, manage and reduce carbon emissions from our operations.

Efficiently managing our carbon footprint is not only essential for achieving our sustainability goals but also reinforces our position as an environmentally responsible firm.

Driving value through sustainability
Our sustainability approach delivers long-term benefits by enhancing property performance, improving efficiency, and creating positive environmental and social impact for investors, tenants and communities.
For investors

Increased property values and improved tenant retention to enable sustainable long-term returns.

For tenants

Efficient, sustainable workplaces that lower costs and enhance wellbeing and retention.

For communities

Positive environmental and social outcomes that contribute to a better, more sustainable future.

Three-pillar sustainability strategy
Our sustainability strategy is built on three core pillars that guide our environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives. This framework reduces business risk while creating measurable value for all stakeholders.
LEAD
Environmental strategy

Environmental wellbeing
Lead the unlisted property funds sector in the reduction of waste, energy and water consumption and carbon emissions.

INSPIRE
Social strategy

Financial wellbeing
Inspire the minds of young New Zealanders and help them build better financial futures for themselves and their country.

SUCCEED
Governance strategy

Stakeholder wellbeing
Succeed by maintaining a robust governance structure, clear accountability, strong leadership, efficient systems and measuring our progress.

Tracking progress: our sustainability scorecards

Accountability drives progress. Our sustainability scorecards offer a clear, transparent view of how we’re performing against our environmental, social, and governance priorities, enabling continuous improvement and measurable impact.
