As we continue to invest in high-performing, fit-for-purpose spaces across the country, we’re thrilled to welcome two new members to our Property Team: Sam Sherning, who joins us as an Asset Manager in Auckland, and Gillian Blanchard, who has stepped into a shared Facilities Manager role based in our Tauranga office.
Sam Sherning – Asset Manager, Auckland
Sam is a commercial property professional with over 11 years of experience in the New Zealand commercial property industry. Prior to joining PMG, Sam held roles for Fletcher Building, looking after the transactional property requirements for numerous operating businesses within the Concrete Division and with Colliers International undertaking sales and leasing of industrial buildings.
He enjoys interacting with his Tenants, working to provide tailored solutions to their requirements and has a sound understanding of commercial leasing negotiations.
Sam has a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Valuation and Property Management from Lincoln University in Christchurch.
Gillian Blanchard – Facilities Manager (Job Share), Tauranga
In Tauranga, we’re excited to welcome Gillian Blanchard, who joins our Facilities Management team in a shared role alongside long-standing team member Celia Bowling. This new job-share model is part of PMG’s broader commitment to being an employer of choice — creating space for flexible working arrangements that support both high performance and personal wellbeing.
Gillian is a new member of the PMG team and has shared responsibility for the Central North Island portfolio of properties. After working for 10 years for a large corporate in the UK, Gillian moved to New Zealand and set up her own business in the online sustainability space before joining PMG.
Gillian believes that the key to success lies in treating every client like a valued partner. Her focus is not just on providing exceptional service but on ensuring that the company's tenants – both businesses and individuals she works with – are consistently well looked after, providing them with reliable, efficient and sustainable solutions.
