PMG News

As 2023 draws to a close, we at PMG reflect on a year that has been both challenging and rewarding. While this year delivered its fair share of challenges, we also enjoyed some great successes, and we’d like to take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate these as we look ahead to 2024.

Navigating economic shifts

The global economic climate has seen a recalibration of asset values, including commercial properties. This adjustment presented significant challenges for our sector, but also strategic opportunities for astute investors looking for growth in value over the longer term.

Despite some softening in values, our focus remains unwavering into 2024: to provide quality spaces for tenants and sustainable returns for our investors, underpinned by a vision of long-term value growth.

Diversification is key

Throughout this year, diversification has become an important strategic tactic to help us navigate continuous uncertainties. PMG’s funds, diversified by property type, tenant and location, have enabled us to continue offering robust investment vehicles that can weather multiple economic cycles.

This approach, along with hands-on strategic management, has enabled us to delay the impact of rising interest costs, and continue delivering monthly cash returns to our investors.

A forward-looking strategy

Our 30-year legacy is built on the expertise of our team and our deep commitment to our investors' financial futures. By investing in commercial properties and supporting our tenants, we contribute to the broader New Zealand economy while strengthening our funds.

As we step into 2024, we feel well-prepared for a productive year ahead, buoyed by the lessons learned and the opportunities that the new year, and hopefully new economic tides, may present.

Thanks to the PMG team and the ongoing support from our valued investors, tenants, contractors and suppliers.
