PMG Funds’ Facilities team won three awards at the 2023 Ngā Tohu a FMANZ Awards at a gala awards dinner in Christchurch on Wednesday, 20 September.
Each year the Ngā Tohu a FMANZ Awards recognise high achievers in the facilities management industry – those who have gone above and beyond in pursuit of excellence. This year, PMG’s Facilities team was nominated in three categories and proceeded to win in all three:
“PMG strives to be a property partner of choice by developing long-term mutually beneficial relationships with tenants, as well as looking at ways to foster continual business improvement. The awards are testament to the team’s commitment and dedication to not only service excellence, but to building long-standing mutually beneficial relationships with tenants and partners,” says Jamie Reid, GM Property at PMG.
“I am so proud of our small but mighty Facilities team,” says Simi Mukherjee, Head of Facilities at PMG.
“Expectations from tenants are continually evolving particularly in premium spaces and amenities such as end-of-trip facilities, like showers and bike storage, which are now becoming an expected part of the workplace experience. We work alongside our tenants to accommodate their growth and their changing needs as their business demands,” says Simi.
With 46 properties and 175 tenants across New Zealand, PMG has a wide footprint and is well-positioned to lead the way when it comes to facilities management excellence.
For the past three decades, PMG has prioritised longevity and sustainability as key elements of our relationship-based, collaborative approach to property management. Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices form the core of PMG's values, fostering enduring relationships with tenants, supplier partners and investors to ensure high-quality properties and sustainable investment returns.
“As a trusted and established commercial property fund manager, we value bringing our tenants and suppliers along for the journey to drive awareness around the value of facilities management, as well as the impact of good facilities management not only on physical properties, but also as a value-add for businesses and to facilitate long-term growth and sustainability,” says Jamie.
